Marketing and Distribution of DD-World Channels of Doordarshan

Doordarshan is inviting sealed tenders from parties/agencies who are interested in distribution and marketing of DD-World  channel of Doordarshan in USA, Canada, UK,  rest of Europe and Australia on DTH Platform and also through cable network.

The applicant (s) whose tender will be accepted shall have to sign an  agreement with Doordarshan within 15 days of issue of  the award letter, failing which the next highest bidder will be awarded the contract.

The foreign parties can obtain more details from the Press & Information Wing of the  High Commission of India in UK, ( Tel. 020 7836 8484 Fax. 020 7836 2632 e-mail. pnihci@compuserve.com ) Canada and Australia and Indian Embassy in USA. Indian Parties can obtain such details from Doordarshan Kendra, Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta and Chennai.

The sealed tenders must reach Controller of Programmes, DD-World Channel, Doordarshan by 30.10..2001. Thereafter no tender will be accepted. These tenders will be opened in the presence of  representatives of the parties on 31.10.2001 at 3.00 p.m. at:
