The General Manager, India Security Press-Nashik Road-422 101, INDIA, invites sealed Global Pre-qualification Tender on behalf of the President of India from reputed firms for undertaking complete OVERHAULING AND UNCRADATION OF FOUR COLOUR (REMBRANDT) PRINTING PHOTOGRAVURE MACHINE.
Description of Job to be carried out:
1) Complete Overhauling and upgradation of Four Colour (REMBRANDT) Photogravure Machine with Numbering Unit.
The condition of the Machine can be examined on any working day before submission of the offer.
The firm may submit their offer for Pre-qualification giving full details of past experience including list of their Customers where such type of Job has been undertaken and completed satisfactorily, approximate time required to complete the Job and any other relevant details, estimated cost etc to the General Manager, India Security Press Road 422 101, latest by 15-07-1999, preferably by FAX, followed by copy by post on their letter head.

NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Kandla Port is a fast growing Major Port of India, advantageously located on the west cost of India. Keeping in view the global potential and in tune with modern trade in port development Kandla Port invites tender for "Development of port facilities including barge handling facilities at Tuna Bunder on Build, Operate & Transfer basis". Tuna Bunder is situated 21 kms. south of Kandla is presently used by sailing vessels/barges.
The private entrepreneurs who intend to submit their offer and having Indian or Foreign corporate office shall have the capability of rendering high degree of BOT services with proven capability and those who have already rendered such BOT services for development of projects at the major ports shall only offer their tenders. The scaled tender shall be submitted under two cover system and the price bid covers of only selected entrepreneurs shall be opened for final evaluation.

NOTICE FOR GLOBAL TENDER ON INTERNAL ILLUMINATION
Sealed tenders are invited from leading manufacturers of electrical light and related equipment and materials for designing and installing the best possible system to illuminate the galleries, stores, offices and laboratories located inside the Victoria Memorial. This includes both illumination of the objects displayed in the galleries, by rigidly maintaining the recommended lux level for museum-quality lighting, and also for illumination of decorative celling and other architectural designs inside the memorial. The work involves (I) presentation of complete layout plan supported with technical details of wiring, lamp system, control system, monitoring for system failure and everything else related to it (ii) laying of cables by designing suitable concealed ducting system or similar (iii) actual installation of lighting equipment, control panels, monitoring system etc., on a turnkey basis. B. the other should be made as per the latest development in the area of museum lighting such as fibre-optic lighting system for illumination, computerised monitoring of system failure, elimination of UV and IB components and should also include specific ideas on how best to integrate the proposed system with the existing sources of natural light in the galleries and stores so that the light level of incident light on objects does not go beyond the prescribed limit C. The offer should also include specific proposals for (a) safety measures (b) maintenance of the proposed system (under AMC) and cost involved thereof, (c) availability of spares and (d) training of Victoria Memorial staff for day-to-day maintenance. D. The interested manufacturing firms should also cite respective previous work-experience of designing and Installing complete lighting systems for museums/other Institutions and are required to submit their tender in sealed envelope marked Proposal for internal illumination/VM on top on or before 30.9.99. E. All payments for the work will be made in Indian rupee and against bank guarantee or similar fiscal mechanism. As a matter of policy, the authorities would like to purchase/install the system and its components directly from the manufacture(s) and without involving any agent and/or payment of any agency commission. The Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), an apex organisation under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, has planned to construct a state-of-art CENTRE FOR PERISHABLE CARGO at caro complex at Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport with an annual throughput of 70,000 MT comprising of perishable agro products such as fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, meat and poultry products.
The facility is designed on a prime land of approx. 30,000 sq. ft. adjacent to tarmac area and is designed for being completely refrigerated and is fitted with state-of-art material handling system with computer programmed operation for semi-automatic storage and retrieval of cargo and electronic data and document processing and integration with customs EDI. The proposed period of completion of the project is 12 months from the date of award of contract.
BIDS ARE SOLICITED from experienced project engineering companies capable of preferably handling the whole project on a turnkey basis either individually or on consortiu basis and having experience of handling projects over Rs.10.00 Crores.
